Recognized nationally and internationally for award-winning creative work. I bring numerous years of experience managing national and global creative departments. I have a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite CS4 applications and have been a contributing production artist striving for strategic creative excellence. I support an integrated marketing approach through a broad range of on-line communications, web, print collateral, video, television and environmental design products. I’m a team player, collaborator and department creative change agent, whom you can rely on to motivate and deliver “big ideas” beyond expectation – on time and on budget. I have an entrepreneurial sensibility, having worked successfully in Business to Business; Business to Government; Business to Commercial and Recruitment for large agencies and global corporations. Northern Virginia Community College 11/2016-Present

Creative Director, Re-branding the largest educational institution in Virginia and the second largest community college n the United States. A local college with global reach. Responsible for creating visual and graphic standards. Re-energizing and leading a team of designers, writers, photographers, and video producers. Created communications to promote college initiatives for internal and external print, environmental graphics, on-line and web assets for You Tube, Face Book and Instagram. Enhanced student engagement, retention and community awareness to reach yearly enrollment goals.

Salsa Labs, (Reston, VA) 1/2014 - 4/2016

Creative Director, responsible for conceptualization of visual and graphic standards that rebranded

an energetic company with global reach. Salsa Labs creates software for over 2,000 nonprofit and 

political organizations.

 

Leveraged a minimal budget to achieve maximum results, shaping the branding and imagery of the 

banners and ads that help generate nearly 40% percent of Salsa’s leads. 

 

Other responsibilities included hiring freelance designers, photographers, illustrators and producers to create tradeshow communications, print and promotional videos. 

 

Woodpile Studios, Vienna VA 4/2011-3/2013

 

Creative Director, responsible for producing graphic standards/style guide for the Department of 

Veterans Affairs. Created an integrated campaign for the Veterans Affairs Office of Information 

Technology, which surpassed VA’s goal of having 200,000 employees participate in a nationwide

survey by eliciting a response from 300,000 employees.

 

(CSC) Computer Science Corporation, (Falls Church, VA) 6/2006-3/2011

 

Global Brand Manager and Creative Director, responsible for branding and communications at a 

Fortune 150 technology solutions company with 90,000 employees in more than 80 countries. 

 

Responsible for all brand consistency, graphics and visual communications while interfacing with 

overseas marketing, advertising, design and customer service departments. 

 

Managed $2 million budget, supervised nine full-time staff (plus freelancers) and a global network of graphic artists in several countries. Supported multibillion-dollar wins for the company with creative frontline presentations, proposals and executive summaries.
