My introduction to the business was no different from others. I quickly learned my work hours were from 8:00 a.m. to whatever time or day p.m. It was crazy to love such insanity, but I did — like all of my colleagues around me. You took pride in pitching for a client. You’d win as a team and celebrate, or you’d lose as a team and feel bad — but only long enough to want another chance to win again.
